SIM Change-over irritation

Anonymous
Not applicable

Just upgraded my contract which comes with a new mobile. It needs a new micro-sim and said they will transfer my number, ok thats great for me slight_smile They say it will take up to 24 hours to do this. Now is it just me or should they change it over to the new SIM as soon as they have removed it from the old SIM? I now have 2 mobile phones and 2 SIMS, neither of which have a number on it... how long am i expected to wait with no phone?

Normally once your old sim becomes inactive its only a few hours until the new one becomes active.

Have you tried restarting the new phone/sim?
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told wink

With the new sim in the new phone, reboot it at regular intervals until the sim becomes active.
