Partner is trying to move from O2 Business account to persoanl account as he ended up with Ariel when he thought he was with 02 direct plus he's never needed it o be a business account. We bought a sim on teh family plan and cancelled his business account as he was alreday out of contract, its now been over three weeks and number still not transferred. We keep calling and getting put through to business retention team who tell us his original number needs to be transferred to the family account before they can transfer it over but then it doesn't happen and we have to call three days later. I'm worried he's going to lose his original number due to this farce. Am I missing something?

I can place bets on the delay been Aerial Direct, so you need to speak to them as well, as that number will still be with them and they own the relationship with you and not o2 until it becomes attached to a personal contract.
