My iPhone 7 (iOS 14) connects to local O2 hotspots but I cannot get internet access. This has only been a problem for the last couple of months and I am only aware of it because, until it occured, I used the Sainsbury's SmartShop app in my local store. Now the app hangs as it can find no connection. I can login to the app via 4G but the coverage is very poor in the store. I can also login via my home wifi.

It's a problem with the hotspot you are trying in Sainsbury's if your WiFi works OK elsewhere.
