No 4g after update galaxy s5

Hi

I'm hoping someone can help me.

After my phone updated to android 6.0.1 and the security patch on 1st June I am having a lot of problems getting a signal at work. I thought it might be a tower problem but a friend at work could get 4g on his iPhone 6 yesterday to watch football & I couldn’t get a signal at all sat next to him.

I have read that it might be a third party app which is causing the problem but how can I check this?

I signed up to o2 because I could get 4g at work but now if I'm lucky I might get 3g at best, I've cleared the cache but doubt it will make any difference but will only find out later when I'm at work.

Does anyone have any suggestions on other things I can do?

Try texting the word "active" to 2020.
Save the settings that get sent back and reboot the phone.
The update might have upset your apn and this will reset it.

After any major update it's advisable to back up and do a factory reset to get rid of obsolete files.
