Good afternoon,

Next month I will be taking a trip to Spain. I would like to know what, if any charges will be aded to my bill because of using my phone in another country?

If you have O2 travel it will cost you £1.99 per day for unlimited (but very slow) data, 120 mins and 120 texts to UK numbers.
If you are on standard rates you can find costs here http://www.o2.co.uk/international/internationalhub
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Roaming on the O2 network always comes at a cost. One text or call will trigger O2 Roaming and the daily charge.

£1.99/day but you need to work out whether this is cost effective. Light users will be better to opt out and use the standard rates but if you tend to send many texts or speak for a long time on calls then it makes sense to use the free bolt on.

It will be listed as a bolt on in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2
If you don't want it you need to cancel it before you travel.

When you go on holiday do you use the internet much, make up to 120 minutes of calls every day or send many texts. if you do then stay opted in (default on all accounts). Data speeds are abysmal and I have wifi everywhere so opted out. You need to make an informed decision depending on your expected usage.
