Good afternoon,
Next month I will be taking a trip to Spain. I would like to know what, if any charges will be aded to my bill because of using my phone in another country?

Roaming on the O2 network always comes at a cost. One text or call will trigger O2 Roaming and the daily charge.
£1.99/day but you need to work out whether this is cost effective. Light users will be better to opt out and use the standard rates but if you tend to send many texts or speak for a long time on calls then it makes sense to use the free bolt on.

how do you know if you are on O2 travel?

When you go on holiday do you use the internet much, make up to 120 minutes of calls every day or send many texts. if you do then stay opted in (default on all accounts). Data speeds are abysmal and I have wifi everywhere so opted out. You need to make an informed decision depending on your expected usage.

You could also use TuGo over Wifi for calls and texts if on contract . A godsend for a lot of us
