I've been on Sky broadband and phone for many years. The service is generally pretty good. I did have a problem a couple of years ago when they switched me over to their own lines in the exchange, but it was eventually sorted out and I got loads of freebies for the inconvenience they had caused.

I have a discount on my monthly broadband bill because i have an 02 mobile linked to it which i regularly top up.
Does this move mean i will lose my discount?

Oh no! Not again. I went through all this when Tiscali was taken over by TalkTalk. What happened? A jump in price & a capped service (previously unlimited). This is why I joined o2 in the first place.
I am on a BT landline, does this mean I will have to change to a Sky landline? Do we lose the £5 o2 mobile discount? More importantly my o2 email space is being reduced to 20 meg from 1024 meg! As my o2 email account is my main account for all my contacts & businesses I deal with, this means I have got to go all through the procedure of changing my email address with everybody. Not an easy job by far! IF IT AIN'T BROKE, DON'T FIX IT! All this because of stupid 4G, what's so special about that anyway?

Hi Leviathan,
Once the proposed deal completes, there will be no material change to a customer’s broadband service and no fundamental contract change.
Cheers

@Your email address should carry over, I'm still using an old @ntlworld.com email that was taken over by Virgin years ago.....

@buseng12
Why not setup a gmail account and use that to collect the o2 mail until all your contacts have the new email address etc
You should be able to get it all transfered over before the downgrade of mail box size.
