I ported my number from EE two days ago and I’m not receiving any 2 factor verification SMS codes. I’ve called o2 customer service twice and reset my network settings and my phone but there is still an issue. This is causing me problems with accessing some important apps and I can see some other users have experience the same. Can someone help get this resolved asap?

There is nobody here that can help as we are just customers.
It does seem O2 have problems in this area.
Maybe try the social media team who are UK based

This will need o2 to liaise with EE who still own your number and do some routing with it, and what should happen is that EE reroute the SMS to the new provider in this case o2, but it can take a few days to settle down especially with insecure 2FA messages sent by text as this can also require the 3rd party SMS provider to do an update.
Just bear in mind this can take upto 14days depending on how quick EE act to resolve the issue.
