Why does Google Play think I don't live in the UK

I want to download the BBC Sport app from Google Play but it tells me it is not available in my country. I live in England!!!! Is my sim card registered in England?

You need to change it in Google Play

If you change your country, you'll need to wait a year to change it again.

On your Android device, open the Google Play Store app .

At the top right, tap the profile icon.

Tap Settings General Account preferences. Country and profiles.

To change countries, tap the name of the one that you want to change to.
