Voicemail issue

I got new pay monthly plan, voicemail was attached, I don’t  use so text 1760 to turn off. Went to States for 2 weeks and got 10-12 daily notifications saying I had new voicemail message…. hugely irritating… still get daily message flashing up but I have NO messages as no Voicemail. Please advise how this gets rectified thx

If it was me, I'd turn VM back on (dial 1750) then call your number from another phone and leave a message.

Listen to it on your phone and delete it.

Then dial 1760 to turn VM off again.

You have to dial 1760 to turn off voicemail, not text.
