Does anyone else have a problem with topping up online? Will not accept my card and tells me to contact my bank. There is nothing wrong with my card, accepted everywhere else. Have contacted 02 by phone, but they have been no help at all, except to tell me to top up via mobile. This works, but why not online as I have done many times in the past. Any idea how to rectify this problem?

Add the card to your MyO2 wallet, then top up from there, if that works for PAYG as it does for Contract, @GeeB1?
Guide How to Top Up (PAYG) shows all the ways to top up, and some cards, like Monzo and possibly Revolut, are not accepted as valid cards by O2.
