Hi there - I have a PAYG SIM in a mobile that I only use for business banking so no calls are made or received from it, only authentication codes sent to it. My service has deactivated I'm guessing because of inactivity so wondering if I can reactivate the number I have assigned to the phone?

Maybe, maybe not.

You will have to contact O2

PAYG Customer Service is 0344 809 0222

Be prepared for them to tell you the only way back is to go contract.....it is a lie.

If you get it back our advice is to make

a chargable call once every 3 months

Other ways to contact O2

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@RF121

You need to contact O2.

Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)  (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202 (contract) 4445 or 0344 8090222 (PAYG)

You need to make a chargeable call at least once every 3 months.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
