Hi, I'm looking for help regarding the following,
A month ago (or so) my son lost his phone and we requested a new sim card from Virgin (prior to the 02 transfer) It was working fine until a few days ago when he started using his new phone. Now it says "SIM card not provisioned". This is a Xiaomi Redmi A2 phone, and I've tried restarting the phone a few times, changing the card from slot 1 to slot 2, and resetting the network settings, but nothing works.
Could anyone help me with this query?
Thank you!
Nuno

You will need to get a new simcard, as Virgin shouldn't have issued a new sim
Your best and quickest way to get a new sim is to pop to your local o2 shop with Photo ID and they can sort it out for you.
Other than that call customer services on 0344 809 0202

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 using the links below, they should be able to help you with this
or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

Hi madasaf1sh,
thank you for your reply, however, it's a bit weird to have to get a new sim card as my daughter's sim card is working properly. I can see if they can help me at the shop, but I won't be able to do it until the weekend 😞 I will probably call their number.
