Morning,

My EE contract ended yesterday and I have my new phone and contract from O2. My old number is not being ported across until tomorrow. When setting up my new phone, it asked me to set a primary and a secondary number as for the moment, there are 2. I set my old number as the primary. My question is, when this number is ported over, will this cause a problem??
thanks

That should not be a problem

But do give them a secondary contact number that can be used for OTP if the primary is out of action

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@Keo5

You should set the number you are keeping as primary.

The secondary, temporary number, will be disconnected when your number ports.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
