Hi.
About 2 weeks ago my partner switched to O2.
The number seemed to got transferred and worked for about a day. And then the service went completely dead. No signal whatsoever. When I try to call him it says number not recognised, the only way he can communicate with anyone is through whatsapp when his connected to wifi.
Can’t make phone calls!!
We had sim replaced, been on the phone with customer service who are giving us runaround and NOBODY seems to know what’s going on. All we heard for last 2 weeks is within another 24h, within another 48h.
This is unacceptable!!!
In the meantime he is in the middle of looking for new flat and job and they have no way of contacting him because all that circus.
Did anyone had similar experience or knows what are the best steps now?
We are at our wits end with them.

There has been an ongoing issue with one of the number registry services that has been impacting porting from any network into O2.
@O2Sarah- is one of the Forum's O2 Advisors, hopefully she can help you out after 8am today -bkeep an eye on your Private Messages here on the Forum, she will need more info from you privately to pursue this. Good luck, @Karola_08!

Having exactly the same unbelievable issues. My number was moved across, I can make calls, but I can’t receive calls, can’t send messages or receive messages, can’t activate iMessage or FaceTime.
Been fobbed off so many times by customer services. Turn the phone on off, take sim out, reset network settings. Even escalated and was told it will be resolved in 4 hours and nothing has changed.
i have a young daughter and her school can’t contact me in emergency. Can’t receive verification texts for online banking. A total NIGHTMARE!!
Please help!!!
