I have my O2 number for some years now. My signal went from 4G and working fine. To showing H+ or even worse...E. and no proper signal or connectivity for last 2 months!
What is happening to your 4G signal O2? This is outdoor and inside. West London or Central London!
Why do I have to constantly rely on WiFi hotspots to get Internet? Why do I pay my mobile data membership for ?
I want my 4G back ! 😫 ( I did restart my phone multiple times thats not it )...

It could be poor signal where you are: Guide: How can I sort out my network issues? will help, @Nico1
It could be a failing SIM, that needs you to present to O2 in an O2 Store with valid photo id.
Worst case, your handset may be faulty - if still in warranty, contact the manufacturer - you can test with a different working SIM from another phone on the same network also. Good luck!

The purpose of the SIM is to authenticate your phone onto the network. If you're getting coverage, then that's working.
This is more likely to be either a device fault or network config issue. Data connectivity issues should be expected in any location where the 4G/5G layer is congested or under-deployed.
