I am a market trader and the venue has no wifi. They say traders should ‘bring their own mobile data to accommodate payments’. Can you tell me how I do this? I use SumUp normally for c/cards.

You need a phone with a data allowance on a network that works inside the venue. (Other traders may help there)

Then use the hotspot facility on your phone to connect the SumUp terminal.

I'm not a trader but have a number of friends that are and that is how they operate

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

Depending on how many transactions you are completing daily @Highlands and whether you want your 'phone tied up, mobile broadband might be an alternative for you :-

If you were considering going down that route, you might want to have your 'phone and dongle on different networks. There are lots of options available so please ask if you need further help. 👍
