Hi,
Here is my sad story....
I was with 3 and decided to move to O2 and keep my number.
Got the sim did all I had to do and waited for everything to settle down..
Eventually I could use my phone except for text so went on the app and was told to wait 48 hours.
48 hours later - no texts - so rang 202 and was told to reset my network and wait 48 hours.
48 hours later I can send texts but still cant receive them - Ive now been several days without texts which means problems with authorising banking, ebay, paypal even googlemail wants to text me a code.
So back to 202 - problem is unresolvable they will send me a new sim. This is on a Friday. Two hours later my phone is cut off from the network, I spend a weekend waiting for my new sim with no phone at all.
Monday - Sim arrives - hooray - nope. Same problem as before can send but not receive texts.
Ring 202 - wait 20 minutes on hold - phone is picked up and then disconnected.
Ring 202 - wait 10 minutes on hold - phone is picked up then disconnected.
Ring from a land line number - wait 10 minutes on hold - phone is picked up then disconnected.
Come up with the idea of completely resetting my phone. Doesnt make any difference but now I cant reload any apps because I cant receive texts. Dumb move on my part but I was desperate.
Tuesday - today - ring to cancel my contract as I have given up hope and it is now 10 days since I first placed my order with O2 and a week without a working phone.
I am still waiting for someone to pickup - its 20 minutes +
Can you imagine the frustration, the expense, the problems and the inconvenience this has caused me.
Still waiting for that phone to be picked up.
Gary.

Hurrah - made it thru and spoke to a very helpful person, Noor, who has cancelled my contract.
Goodbye O2 and good luck to anybody else with this problem.
