My phone was stolen on 15 Nov 2024. On 16 Nov 2024 I called O2 and requested them to place a bar on the stolen SIM card. After they placed the bar, I went to an O2 store later that day to request a replacement SIM card. They gave me a new SIM card and they said they lifted the bar. However, the SIM card is still not working as they indicated there was an error when they were trying to lift the bar and this hasn’t been resolved yet. I have been calling O2 every day and went to the store four times. The issue was escalated to the technical support team but it has been 10 days and no one is giving me a solution and my phone is still not working. I need this resolved ASAP.

This is not O2 but a community of customers so we are unable to help
Sounds like they have not just put a bar on the SIM but have included an IMEI bar on the handset. They are known to do this.
We can only refer you back to O2 but get the to check for a handset bar
