how do i top up my pay as you go phone.the voice says press number 1,2,3 but the numbers dont come up on the screen.                 or press hot key 3.where is that on my phone

Hot keys only work if you have O2 branded firmware on your phone but to get the keypad on screen you need to press the button that looks like the outline of a keypad whilst you are in a call.
What phone have you got?

4444 free call as in the link. Hot keys you utilise just by pressing and holding the 3 key just as voicemail, key 1,  balance, key 2 work. I believe they are picked up off the sim card or at least they used to be.

If it's an iPhone then call 4444 then when the call connects you will see the options on screen. Select keypad
