Wrong Name on Account

So I have a bit of an issue. In the past. My O2 account was in my mum’s name but using my own email address. However, I recently got a new contract and did it in my name (through Mobile Phones Direct). All correspondence between me and MPD were in my name and the contract was agreed with my name and details. But when I registered my new phone and contract with myO2, I used my email address and somehow O2 has assumed that the contract must have been in my mum’s name?

So long story short the contract I took out in my own name is still registered to my mum according to my O2 account.

Anyone have any ideas how I can rectify this? Thanks in advance!

You'll need to contact customer service to advise them of the details.

Be prepared to send copies of the contract paperwork with MPD though.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 202, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
