Upgrade with free i-phone 4s - showing charges when meant to be free

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi Guys,

I've just this second finished speaking to someone (nathan) about upgrading my phone. He explained that although the i-phone 4s was meant to be £50 on the £32 tariff i have chosen, he will give me it for free because i have been a loyal customer for 2 years.

Problem is, its now showing on my account as a £50 charge for the phone. Panicking here...

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks, Tom

Usually this will show as a credit on your first bill.

Call O2. If he said that it will be noted in your account.

If he has noted the full price in the account, then ask for the call to be listened to. This, however, can take up to 5 working days for it to be listened to but if he has said that then I wouldn't worry as you know you are right.

The credit could possibly take a few days to show up but you are doing the right thing by checking it out now in the early stages.
