Afternoon all. Apologies if this is in the wrong area, my first post.

I've just heard from one of my local O2 stores that switch up is changing to every 3 months now. Anyone confirm if this is true?

Not that I have heard of, and they have to give 30 days notice of any changes to tariffs or boltons and no one has heard owt..

And would be unfair to change the terms.

16. O2 does not guarantee that the Bolt On will always be made available and reserves the right to end the Bolt On at any time.

Ah yeah I saw that but that's to do with the bolt on. I have the plus plan and the people in the stores are saying from 4th July you have to wait three months to switch up again

Then that is a change to the plan, and they have to give 30 days notice... and notify you that it is changing..  As it forms part of your plan, they cant just change the rules...

@Martin-O2 @Breanna  can we get an official o2 position on the possible changes to Switch Up

@Soks99 @madasaf1sh

The Guide: Introducing O2 Switch Up. Swap phones whenever you want! has been updated with some info at the top there and any more relevant updates will be posted there later on.

Existing Switch Up customers can upgrade as normal but there will be some future changes to the bolt on as discussed in the link posted by @pgn above. If you're already on a Plus Plan, the T&Cs will remain the same.

The changes affect new customers from 3rd August 2023 and I see the bolt on is still available on the O2 site until that date.

Thank you for the info. I have the plus plan so I'm guessing I'll be unaffected by this?
