Sim 1 not provisioned

I've just bought a new phone from carphone warehouse and I get the notification sim 1 not provisioned. I don't know what to do?

Your sim isn't activated.

If this is an upgrade you can use your old sim but if a new contract you need to speak to Carphone warehouse support to see if they have processed your account.

Activations with O2 are taking longer than usual at the moment so you might need to be patient.

The sim needs activating so you need to get back on to CPW. It does take until the next working day for them to activate.
