Bought a new phone and new physical sim card, opted to keep old number. Old sim was with O2 ( well virgin which was then taken over by O2). Now inserted both old and new sim card into the new phone , selected the activate sim card option online hours ago. New sim card still not working. continuous phone notifications saying "sim 1 not provisioned". Help needed please

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this or pop in store with photo ID.
