Hi there,
I have an iPhone 13 (PAYG) that has issues with roaming (internet) in France.
At first, I was totally unable to get access the internet. Then, following this post's instructions (https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple/o2-PAYG-roaming-settings/m-p/1620094), I changed my mobile data APN. This allowed me to get internet, but only on a 3G network!!! It is just too slow. Back in the UK, I used 4G without any issues.
I have tried changing my network (different companies) with no success. It is still 3G. I am incredibly disappointed with O2's roaming services.
All the best,

O2 cannot control your network mode when abroad. It is controlled by the roaming network.
If you're only getting 3g on all available networks you need to check your phone settings to make sure 4g is enabled. Do not select 5g as it isn't available.
