Unfortunately waiting for the port to sort itself was not the answer here.
After 4 calls with customer services and 3rd line support and 2 attempts at porting my number I'm no closer to having a functioning phone line.
The only answer I've been given is that customer services had done something wrong with the ports and I'd need to request they have a further attempt.
I've lost confidence in the issue being resolved so I've requested a PAC for O2 and I'm going to give another network at try.
