PAYG topup???

Anonymous
Not applicable
I was wondering if someone can help me. Having left O2 I transferred my number to a PAYG sim. I would like to topup and keep it as a spare without having to topup every month. I've looked on o2's website and all those payg tarrifs are confusing!! What do I have to do to just simply topup without some fancy tarrif and keep my number active without topups every month?

Thanks

You can use one of the unlimited tarrifs and keep the credit and the sim active you just need to make a call every six months and top up every 999 days

What tariff are you on? You really need to be on text and web.

You only need to top up monthly to get the allowances, otherwise just top up when you need to and it will use the credit for calls and texts. Just make a chargeable call every 6 months to keep the sim active.

Make sure you switch off mobile data to stop the phone accessing data services.

No a text is ok as long as it is chargeable ie not included in any allowance it doesn't really matter what tarriff your on if you are not going to use it but that is a personal choice

Text and web or one of the unlimited tariffs would be suitable.
Either a call or text every 6 months is all that's needed.
