I was on a sim only deal for 30gb data, and have ordered a new handset as part of a custom upgrade plan. I selected the same amount of data. It is due to be delivered tomorrow (12th feb). My next bill for the sim only plan I’ve been on til now is not generated until the 15th of Feb.
My O2 is now showing 60gb of data instead of 30gb - is this just because the old airtime plan is still active and the bill hasn’t been generated/paid yet?

Your next bill will be a forward-bill for new setup and a closure for the earlier setup and will be higher than normal.

Do you also have Virgin Media Broadband at home?? As it could be that your Volt Megaguide benefits have been added to your account, as sometimes it applies straight away.
If not then call the sales team on 0808 0020202 or check the emails with the contract information, as the data changes instantly on upgrade..
