Hi, I have used £29.66 on my £250.00 monthly allowance, I keep getting declined for using o2 as a payment option on Google Play, I have spoken to o2 and they have confirmed there are no restrictions on my account and that I have £220.34 available but it keeps declining small purchases. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

And what do Google say. They will be the ones declining the payment

I have just reached out to Google and after a lot of backwards and forwards they have said
"I just finished working with our specialists. As per carefully checking with them, you will be needing to get in touch again with your provider, because according to our system, you were being referred to contact your bank, however, due to privacy policy we do not have the visibility of the reason why."

This is happening to a lot of customers me included and no one can get a straight answer out of o2 so good luck in getting anything out of them..
As it does seem to be a policy change that no one can work out or undo.. 😞

Looks like the max you can spend monthly on Google Play charge to O2 Mobile is £240:

And make sure your device is not rooted, and if a dual-sim device, the correct SIM is selected, @Rostopher91

It's so frustrating, I've spoken to O2 again and they have told me they've reamended my spend to 250 allowance but when I try to make a purchase I get told
You've reached your monthly limit for O2 Charge to Mobile on Google Play. Try again at the start of next month or increase your limit now by calling 202 (for Pay Monthly) or 4445 (for Pay As You Go) and try your purchase again.
