I am a new customer to 02 2 months ago my contract started. i have been told a work that i am entitled to a discount. i registered online on the 02 open but got this message

You can’t get an O2 Open discount with this number as it’s been over 28 days since the contract started. Your contract started on: 15/09/2024

i have tried contacting 02 but not having much luck. can anyone help please in directing me in the right direction.

@CraigBear

I'm afraid you have  to apply the discount within 30 days of contract starting, so the message was correct

Hello @CraigBear

I am very sorry that you missed the opportunity but o2 won't change their rules.

It is as @Cleoriff told you.

There is an official way to complain but be warned it's taking around 8 weeks at the moment

https://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

To be fair @CraigBear

That isn't o2's fault, that is down to your employer not advertising the perk...

And to be honest its tough until you next upgrade... that is how it works for everyone who is eligible for o2 open, and you could get your employer in trouble if you push too hard as the code can be cancelled, by o2 and then all your colleagues lose out..
