Hi,
I moved over to O2 in November 2024 on a pay monthly SIM only deal for 24 months. Since moving over my signal is terrible where I live to the point where I cannot make or receive phone calls in the house without it cutting out or depending which room I'm in completely missing calls and they never come through. I checked the network coverage map before joining and it shows that there is full coverage in my location. I also raised a support call regarding this which O2 says there are no issues with the network.
My question is, if I cannot use my Sim to make and receive calls, is there a way to cancel my contract and move my number over to another network?
Thanks,
Alex

I thought this might be the case, but I just wondered if there was an option to waive the cancellation fee being that I am unable to use the SIM to make calls reliably.
Suppose the only other option is to reduce the plan down to the lowest amount and continue paying that, but I would ideally like to move my number to another provider.

If you read the "How" guide above you will see it mentions WiFi Calling
In case you missed it here is the link

Maps are only a rough guide and are unable to take into consideration a number of local factors that can have an impact on reception.
We always recommend using PAYG SIM cards on different networks first before committing to a contract

You can also try reducing your network connection to 2g to make and receive calls as is usually reliable and stable.
