I cancelled my contract with o2 last night via phone after paying off my device. However, I've received no confirmation. I've looked on all of the guides online and there is no information about how to request confirmation and speaking to someone on the o2 helpline is next to impossible, not least because I don't have a phone currently and have to borrow someone elses until my next one arrives. I can't travel to a store until the weekend - please can someone suggest how I go about accessing a confirmation? I don't want to be charged for services I haven't used.

Yep, I can still access this and all info looks as it did before I cancelled.
