£78.58 for a 30 Min. Call to Canada I feel is excessive charge. I have had this account for years and mainly use the internet .But anyway I feel this is an excessive charge.

Yes it's around £3 a month £36 a year .I only use my phone for internet .Never use the text and possibly less than 5 mins on calls a month.But on this occasion returned the call on a missed call. Just thinks it's excessive .

All mobile networks and even BT charge a lot for international calls.

And yet o2 is one of the cheapest to call from a mobile phone without any bolt ons at around £3 per minute

@John63 If you and the people you're calling in Canada download and install WhatsApp you can call for free if you call using WiFi.
