hiya I recently sent my device back to 02 as I didn't want tye device no longer and I'm still getting billed for the contract but I was told on the phone I could send device back and my contract would be terminated. But I see I am still being billed...

We’re just customers like you but it sounds like you’ll need someone to access your account which can’t be done from here. If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this

Oh dear. That's not how it works unless you are in the first 14 days of your contract.
You are liable for the full amount owing on your contract and O2 should not have asked for the phone back
