Hi there,
Has anyone had any luck connecting the Alcatel One Touch dongle to a Mac with OSX 10.9 (Mavericks)? Alternatively, any ideas if/when this will ever be supported?
Cheers,

That's O2 Connection Manager which is pre-installed on the O2 MBB dongles, so it should work.
If OSX 10.9 isn't yet supported it's a case of waiting until O2 update the software.

Thanks all. Strange and frustrating, this - o2 support seem to think the x230d dongle is ALREADY compatible with OSX 10.9.1, but my Mac cannot even see it in the USB port, far less activate the Connection Manager. Any ideas out there ..?

Can you try anything else to make sure the USB port is working?
If so it could be a faulty dongle, even if it doesn't connect the Mac should see it.

Here is a guide Ive come across
This is about a 3 dongle but is the same process and I'm aware you said both should be compatible with each other bit its worth a go.
If no joy :
Take your mac and dongle to your local apple store and the genius will help and guide you.
If your dongle is ok.

The USB port is fine, the dongle(s) - I bought 2, they are currently on offer at O2 for 25p each! - are both fine. They both work perfectly in a Windows 8 machine I have. I don't have a Mac running OSX 10.8, but I'm confident they'd be OK in there, too. So I guess it muct be a 10.9 glitch ...

Until o2 relaese 10.9 drivers and connnection manager then you may not be able to use them at least they did not cost the earth.
@Toby if you see this could you try and find out when 10.9 will be supported

Where are you seeing them at that price?
There's nothing at that price in the online shop.
As above you need to wait for the 10.9 update.
