Hi all,
I've just switched from pay as you go to pay monthly 20GB for £20 tariff and got my first bill with amount of £33.00.
I'm wondering, why is it not £20?
Thanks

They said that the discount was applied after the first bill was generated and £13 of discount will return to me after 12 months.

Hi @A1taiR First bill is usually a little higher. Look at this https://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/first-bill

Here is the breakdown of the bill:
So, the question remains. Why am I charged £33 instead of £20 at 20Gb pay monthly tariff?

Yes 202 and ask them to explain why the bill is so high. First bill is normally only a couple of pounds above the tariff you signed up for.

I can understand it was applied after the first bill but it should then be shown on your next bill. Waiting for 12 months is a load of nonsense. Call again and don't be fobbed off like that. Hopefully you will get someone who knows what they are talking about.
