Does an 02 top up cover the whole of the UK??     If I top up in Scotland can I only call inside Scotland   I'm being told by your help line that you get charged for phoning England and vice versa.   Ive never known this to happen.    My Husband went down to England I topped up his phone by £10 on 12th June by 15th June he was being told he had no money in his account and he had to top up.     He only made about 3 calls to me and Im an 02 account holder.  I know he had about £13 in his phone before I topped up.   He received a text to tell him top us was successful, then another text to tell him he had unlimited 02 to 02 calls plus unlimited text.    Now to be told [and I'm still on the phone with you so called help team over 1hr getting nowhere fast]  that " Oh he's in England he has to pay to call Scotland.    What are you playing at, I can't get my head around this.   25yrs of being with 02 to get this sort of service is disgusting.     I would hope you would reply ASAP and not leave this for weeks and weeks.   Meanwhile I will stay holding like an idiot to try and get answers.   Yours sincerely  Margaret Brown

This is not customer services, and nor will anyone read your post.

It makes no difference where you top up in the UK, nor does it cost to call Scotland and nor will ever cost to call Scotland.. 

To be honst I would hang up and call again tomorow.. 

Also if on PAYG then just port out and join another network... simples...

All standard UK numbers are included no matter where they are.

Thanks for that,  They just hung up on me after being on the phone for over 1hr.  still saying that it cost to phone from England to Scotland.    They really are I can't say what they are its to rude but not rude enough.        Thanks anyway.

They just hung up on me after over 1hr and they're still saying it cost to phone from England to Scotland.          Can't really say what I think of them, but Im angry.   As soon as my husband comes home I'm going to wipe 02 and go elsewhere.  Thanks.

I'm not sure what O2 are thinking off just lately but it certainly isn't customer service.
