I have two phones - a Huawei, that I havve been using, and an Alcatel, that I want to use.

I put my SIM into the Alcatel phone and it has asked me for the Unlock Code.

I assume I have to get this from whichever company supplied the phone?

What information do I need to give them - IMEI, Phone Serial Number?

I's appreciate any help.

@CidEaton Best thing for you to do is to contact customer service of the network the phone is locked to, or ask on their community forum. There is a guide to unlock an O2 phone, but it may very well differ to the instructions from your network.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

You'll most likely find you need to use the phone on the other network before they can unlock it.

You can find the network by running your IMEI number through checkmend,

https://www.checkmend.com/uk

The IMEI number is always printed on the phone somewhere.

Places to look are under the battery (if removeable), on the sim tray, on a fold of paper inside the sim slot ot etched onto the back of the phone.

It will definitely be somewhere. Google for it's location on your exact phone.
