Hi,

I can receive txts ok but am unable to send them.

I have plenty of credit but added another £10 just to play safe.

Obviously I have signal as I can receive txts but just cannot send.

I can't contact O2 support as whenever I pick "help" in the android app it takes me to a webpage. And if I pick start chat in the webpage it says use the O2 app, aarrgghhh.

Why is this so difficult??!?

Thanks

@Rich867

Some things to try:

Reboot phone.

Check roaming is on in phone settings.

Manually search for another network

Check with O2 whether you have a roaming bar on your account. Do this via social media

If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help.

I've tried in 2 different handsets.

Roaming is nothing to do with text messages.

I'm not using data.

It always used to work and according to their website it still should.

Only SFR allows me to connect when I manually search, the other networks won't let me connect.

I don't use social media.

RCS uses data and I'm not aware of what method you are using?

Anyway, nothing we can do here so call using Skype.
