This morning I had a text message from O2 about running site maintenance but the text has a phone number on it and ask to fill in details like my address and card details, is this from O2 or is this a scam?

It says

From o2:We are runing site maintenance! confirm your details to avoid disconnection using our secured link: o2-up.gradeserver.co.uk/customer

Thanks

o2...

I would suggest it is dodgy.
Can you please confirm @EmilieT @Martin-O2 @Marjo?

It would seem like this is a scam.

Forward the text message, including phone number or company name, to 7726. Then delete the message and won't cost you anything to send.

Thanks for the mention on this one @gmarkj!

@SimonPoole This doesn't sound legitimate to me so I would advice not responding to it. I'll also flag it to the fraud team so they can investigate.

Thanks for letting us know and I'll drop you a message if I need any additional details.

If this is a scam they have jumped on it pretty quickly.

I have had 3 texts recently stating O2 are doing maintenance in my area (post code given)

However, that was it, nothing else asked for. The only link to click on was the network status. It was from O2-UK.
