Hello!
I'm hoping for a simple answer please. I have had my daughters contract on my account (she pays me the money) She has now made the decision that she would like her contract to be in her name and go from her bank account. Ive had a look around but getting confused about the answers.
Thanks in advance for your help

She needs to apply for her own contract and pass the credit checks.
Once done, you can migrate the number across Guide: Migration & porting into O2
Guide: How to find help & contact O2

Ok, we have tried doing what is on the migration help page, the page is out of date and the links on the screenshots no longer exist.
So, yesterday my daughter and I rang 02 customer services to transfer her number to her new phone contract that she was able to get on her friends account (i have 3 kids on my account and im moving them all off once their device contracts are up)
So, we explained that i am bedbound and would need to go for the 7day password option. The lady said that was no longer done, so she put a note on my account that i give permission for my daughter to speak on my behalf with all my info, so all that needed to happen was, her friend call 202 from his phone pass his security check, then my daughter pass mine and they number can be moved over. SOunds simple enough yeah?
My daughter and her friend call only to be told that it doesnt matter that i gave permission and its written on my notes, they cannot allow that to go ahead as it could be some breach of something or other!
Please can someone somewhere just help my daughter and me just transfer a number over.. sounds so simple yet it isnt 😞
