Mobile number change problem

Despite o2 bringing my old number across from EE the original o2 mobile number that came with the handset still comes up on peoples phones when I’m FaceTiming, iMessaging and ringing them, why is this and how can it be fixed? I’ve had my new iPhone 11 and o2 contract since March
