Cancelling after device contract has ended

Anyone know how we can cancel a tariff after the contract has ended?  I have two devices that I have come to the natural end of the contract but struggling to find out how to cancel unless I phone them, I don't have time to sit on the phone for hours waiting for them to answer me!
