For 2 days my wife and I (2 separate accounts) have had 3 texts and 3 emails to say that you have set up a direct debit with our bank. As these already exist, is this a scam? Regards David

It's not a scam. O2 are moving people onto a new billing system which requires setting up new DD in place of the old.
Pity they didn't explain that to stop people worrying

Me too,,and nothing from o2,,,spent 45mins on hold for support call and gave up,bank says they have blocked anything now but to inform o2 same,and you can't get through to them,,,disgraceful

You will have to contact O2 as you may be in the situation where there is no DD on your account
