What is a Browser ?

I need to know what browser I use so I can receive as good as it gets sort of Star Chart Reading : the file my dear talented friend says the file is too big on Outlook = Never used Outlook I think.

I double click on Microsoft ? Edge to 'Open up the Laptop = My Window on the World' ... ?

I know I ask darn basic questions ... but ... ?

As usual any assistance would be greatfully received.

Microsoft Edge is a browser, so is Google Chrome. There are others you can install such as Firefox.

Put simply a browser is the program that allows you to view pages on the Internet.
