My husband like me had a Virgin Mobile sim card. Mine was switched to O2. However my husbands number is not recognized. I need to top up his credit online as he is pay as you go. However I am unable to do so because Virgin Mobile no longer exists and O2 does not know his number??? I thought about buying him a new O2 sim but it will be a pain changing his current number. Can you help?

Your best bet is to go into an O2 shop with your husband and get them to swap his sim to a new O2 sim.

If you have the number, they can give him a sim with that number on.

As it's a new sim for O2, his first top up will need to be via a voucher Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

Virgin closed down the PAYG service a couple of years ago, and no PAYG numbers where transferred to o2, so not sure how his PAYG number is working still.

I think you are going to be down to getting a new number, as there is no way to get that number back...
