JUST THOUGHT I WOULD MENTION MY POP INTO 02 SHOP TO UPGRADE MY PHONE.......SATURDAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS I WENT TO THE RETAIL PARK TO VISIT THE 02 SHOP,DUE TO VERY BUSY CHRISTMAS SHOPERS I GOT THERE AT 8.00 AM TO HAVE HASSLE FREE PARKING,AS THE SHOPS STARTED TO OPEN I NOTICED 02 DIDNT...UNTIL 10.00AM.....3 CUSTOMERS WERE BEING SERVED AND WHEN I TOLD THE YOUNG LAD AT THE DOOR THAT I WOULD LIKE TO UP GRADE TO A NEW PHONE ,AS MY SONY EXPERIA Z1 WAS NOW IN A BAD STATE, HE TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NOBODY IN AT THE MOMENT WHO COULD DEAL WITH ME AND COULD I POP BACK IN A WHILE ,SO I SAID I WOULD HAVE A LOOK AT THE PHONES ON OFFER IN THE SHOP FOR A BIT,EVENTUALLY I ASKED HIM HOW LONG WOULD I BE WAITING FOR AND HE SAID ABOUT 3 HOURS! I COULD NOT WAIT THAT LONG AND IF I WENT AWAY IN MY CAR I WOULD NEVER HAVE GOT PARKED AGAIN DUE TO THE VOLUME OF CHRISTMAS SHOPPERS QUEING UP FOR SPACES, I WENT HOME WITH MY DATED SONY EXPERIA Z1 .....VERY DISSAPOINTED .

Most stores now have a queuing process, where by if they get busy they will text you when an advisor is available, so he was been honest and saying they had already customers booked into the Virtual queue... so its tough poop but that is how it works...
Not sure why you would expect o2 to open early just because its Christmas, its not like 20+years ago, when people where buying cheap garbage PAYG phones as pressies..
Just go to another store, or look at other networks...

thanks for any help offered i was just annoyed and feeling id completely wasted my time and felt i just needed to tell someone......i will re think my need for a new phone!
