I urgently need help regarding getting a specific telephone number - This is time sensitive and has the potential for a huge financial impact to myself - The number in question is not currently in use and the information i have points to the range holder being 02 (telefonica). I have tried calling multiple times and using the App but all i get is we can't get the number if its ceased or i don't have access as i don't have an 02 account - Having nearly 20 years experience within the telephone and broadband industry I know this to be rubbish - Please Please Please can someone contact me this evening or tomorrow so we can see if there is a viable option to get this number back
All i need is to speak to someone in the number porting team or i potentially face losing £25,000+
Someone please Help!

Regretfully there is no one from O2 here as this is a customer to customer community
All the ways to contact O2 are in this help file.
Guide: How to find help & contact O2
I know you have tried them but sometimes persistence pays off.
As you haven't got an O2 account and you seem to suggest it may be an O2 number unless it was registered to you recently, I doubt they will help for security reasons

No worries thanks for the reply @Enlli . Was hoping there would be a moderator or community expert that could point me to someone. This was last resort as no response to emails and online states can take 8 weeks for a reply (which in itself is a joke). Continuing to call is a waste of time as no-one has the required knowledge at that level to help and is just stressing me out as no-one even appreciates what I'm going to lose.
The number was registered to my Dad's girlfriend with another provider however it was ported from O2. When she cancelled that number it was returned to the rangeholder (o2,telefonica) for them to re-allocate to their customer base (normally after a period of quarantine) - So i know the number is available, I know o2 can functionally do what i need, It is just impossible to get to the right person

I think that if it was allocated to your Dad's girlfriend O2 would consider you have no claim, and although it may not be the case it could flag up bells a fraud which O2 has been more strict on lately
