I ordered a new sim from O2 a couple of days ago as mine was faulty meanwhile my phone is now only making emergency calls not sure why anyway my husband is at work and we have no landline so I am unable to contact anyone we were transferred from Virgin Media for phone services not very happy with the service so far

If you order a replacement SIM on line O2 will immediately disconnect the original... crazy, but that is how they work.
For future reference it is better to get a replacement through an O2 store. Just call in with Photo ID and it is changed there and then
